How to choose the right alert button for your situation
Choose by failure mode, not feature count. Start with the hardest moment the device must cover.
That usually means one of three risk windows:
An unwitnessed fall: The person cannot press or speak.
A trip outside: The alert needs cellular GPS or phone-based location, not a home hub.
A care-home response: Staff need room, bed, or zone context.
